Chandler v. Long Beach Care Center, et al. Settlement

The parties have reached a settlement in this case regarding allegations against Torrance Care Center East (TCCE) and Torrance Care Center West (TCCW). On August 12, 2015, the Court granted preliminary approval of the class action settlement. Included in the class are persons who resided at Torrance Care Center East and/or Torrance Care Center West from February 9, 2008 to July 15, 2013. The monetary payments available to the class are $400 for current and former living residents of TCCE and TCCW and $200 for their survivors.
